Stories are my first love. And as John Cassavetes once said, "I make my own sandwiches." Writing, directing, editing, producing – my joy is to be fully immersed in the narrative process, because I find it collaborative, improvisational and full of magic.

Abandoned by her dreamer single mom, a teen conservationist (Haney-Jardine) becomes obsessed with ecological disaster, forcing her and her grandmother (Madigan), a functioning alcoholic, to learn to trust each other as they leap into the unknown.

Featuring humorous, sharply drawn characters and powerful performances by Amy Madigan, Lili Taylor, and break-out star Perla Haney-Jardine (STEVE JOBS), Future Weather is about finding the courage to survive change.

Save the Future is the companion short to Future Weather, starring Perla Haney-Jardine (Kill Bill Vol. 2). It was one of six finalists for Netflix's FIND Your Voice Contest, a funding battle for first-time directors.
